We offer individual therapy for children (ages 5+), adolescents, and adults, as well as family and couples counseling. Our clinicians specialize in a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and more. We also offer ecotherapy and equine-facilitated therapy with some providers.
You can call our office and speak to one of our Client Support Specialists to get started. They'll need about 15-20 minutes and will create your client profile, gather demographics, verify insurance and do a brief screening. If you're calling to get your kiddo started in counseling, and they are age 12+, we'll need to speak to them too.
The first few sessions may feel overwhelming or like you aren't making progress -- there will be a lot of questions to help us get to know you, understand your symptoms and complete the clinical assessment. We're also focused on building trust and understanding your goals. Together, with your therapist, you will create a treatment plan that feels supportive and collaborative. You’ll never be rushed — we want to understand who you are and how we can help.
Yes! We have clinicians with specialized training in working with children and adolescents. We also support parents and caregivers through family sessions and parenting support.
Yes! We ask parent to be involved for all or part of the intake, depending on your child's age and situation bringing you to counseling. We'll also want to have you regularly involved in counseling -- allowing for autonomy and to maintain your child’s confidentiality, but also provide regular updates and support tools so you can help them grow outside of session.. For safety, if your child is under age 16, we require you to stay at the clinic during their appointment, even if you aren't in the session with them.
Yes — your privacy is protected by law. However, there are a few exceptions: we are required to break confidentiality if someone is at risk of harming themselves or others, or if there is suspected abuse or neglect of a minor or vulnerable adult. You can talk to your therapist about these limitations if you have questions.
We are rooted in our local community and guided by values of access, respect, and connection. Our team is inclusive, compassionate, and committed to making mental health care available to all — especially those often left behind by traditional systems.
We accept most major health insurance plans, including OHP. If you're using insurance, you'll be responsible for the copay or coinsurance determined by your insurance plan. For private-pay clients, we will discuss rates, sliding scale and provide a "Good Faith Estimate" so there are no surprises.
We believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for growth and healing. Instead of assigning the first available therapist, our Client Support Specialists take time to learn about your needs, goals, and preferences. We'll ask about what you're hoping to work on, whether you have a preferred therapist or style, and then thoughtfully match you with someone who’s a great fit for you. Depending on your request and schedule availability, there may be an available appointment or we may have a brief wait for services.
