LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
pronouns: he/him
Alex grew up in Clackamas County and earned his Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College. He specializes in working with grief, helping people navigate the natural emotions that come with change and loss—whether through death, divorce, or other life transitions. Alex uses an action-oriented approach that guides clients through clear steps to identify what feels emotionally unresolved and move toward healing. Alex's work is rooted in a strength-based perspective, emphasizing skill-building, confidence, and personal insight. He supports clients in developing flexible thinking, strengthening resilience, and cultivating practical tools they can use in everyday life. Above all, he believes therapy is most effective when it provides a safe space to be honest, while also offering the right amount of challenge to encourage growth. In his free time, Alex enjoys the beach and exploring nature with family and friends. Alex works with clients age 16+.
