Hailing from the Seattle area, Andrew graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2019 before returning to the Pacific Northwest. Since then, he has supported adolescents and adults as an ADHD & Executive Function Coach while pursuing his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Fox University. Andrew also has experience working with children as a teacher in sports and day-camp settings.
Andrew believes the capacity for healing and growth dwells within everyone, and that this potential is best nurtured through attentive listening, curiosity, and self-discovery. In counseling, he uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach which values the experience of the client and relies on collaboration.
In another life, Andrew would be a professional tennis player. He is a true racquet sport enthusiast and plays ping pong, tennis, pickleball, touchtennis, and badminton. Beyond the court, Andrew enjoys slow walks, good food, audiobooks, trees, lakes, and the company of friends and family. Andrew is a student intern, completing requirements for his master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and works under direct supervision. He currently works with clients ages 14+ and their families.
