We understand how important counseling is and want to support you in the best way possible. It is our mission to make counseling accessible to all clients, so please talk to us if you have questions about your financial responsibility. We contract with several insurances that will help cover the cost of counseling.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

A good faith estimate is a written estimate of the expected charges for medical services and items, which we provide upon request or when scheduling a service. This estimate includes anticipated charges for the services you will receive and is based on the information available at the time of the estimate.

Your Rights and Protections Against Surprise Medical Bills

Under the No Surprises Act, patients have rights regarding unexpected out-of-network costs.

  • Right to a "Good Faith Estimate" (GFE):Patients without insurance or not using insurance can request a written estimate for expected charges, including therapy services, at least 1 business day before an appointment.
  • Dispute Rights: If a bill exceeds the GFE by at least $400, you have the right to dispute it.

All clients will meet with a therapist for a thorough intake, which will include an assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan.

Please note that these are the full rate prices. For those with insurance coverage, you will be responsible for your coinsurance, copay and/or deductible. We also offer a sliding scale for clients on an as needed basis for those without insurance. If you have questions about our rates or do not have insurance and would like information about a sliding scale option, please contact our office.
