MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST
pronouns: she/her
Erin grew up in Portland as a dedicated student‑athlete, playing basketball, soccer, swimming, and water polo. Through her relationships with her teams and their families, she saw early on how our environments shape who we are and how we heal. She studied Psychology at the University of Oregon, discovering her passion for using therapeutic tools not only to enhance performance but also to help people live fuller, more meaningful lives. Erin went on to earn her Master of Social Work from Portland State University and has found deep fulfillment in walking alongside others in their healing journeys ever since.
Rooted in social work values, Erin approaches therapy as a real human first. Her experience in schools, juvenile justice, and foster care continually reminds her that therapy is most effective when it starts with safety, honesty, and authenticity. She is warm, direct, and collaborative—creating space where clients don’t have to filter themselves or have it all figured out to belong.
Erin draws from trauma‑focused CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and family systems approaches, always tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each person or family. She’s especially passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and neurodivergent clients, and she brings a strong social justice and racial equity lens into her practice. Clients can expect her to be fully engaged, compassionate, and willing to offer gentle challenges that promote growth. Her goal is to help you feel grounded, understood, and connected—to yourself and the world around you. When she’s not in the therapy room, you can find Erin enjoying the outdoors (especially near water), snowboarding, exploring Portland’s food scene, and spending time with her beloved dog, Senay. Erin is a QMHP and working under direct supervision. She is currently working with clients ages 10+ and their families.
