Growing up in an inter-racial family with a single mother, Prentice learned the benefit of mentorship and knew early on that his passion was serving others. Now, with nearly 20 years of experience in mental health and substance use, he has dedicated his career to supporting communities and driving positive change in the healthcare sector. Trained as a psychiatric nurse in British Columbia, he has a solid clinical foundation that complements his advanced education and leadership roles.

Prentice holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration (DHA), which have equipped him with the skills to navigate the complexities of healthcare management and drive strategic initiatives. His experience as an adult educator allows him to effectively share knowledge and empower others to improve their practice and achieve their goals. Throughout his career, Prentice has been committed to providing business coaching and facilitating change management within organizations. His approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and a deep understanding of human behavior, enabling him to deliver impactful solutions that enhance organizational performance and support individual growth. Prentice's expertise spans a wide range of areas, including mental health services, substance use treatment, healthcare administration, and adult education. He is passionate about fostering resilience, innovation, and excellence in all of his professional  professional endeavors. 

Prentice is also skilled in providing trainings, clinical consultation and change management solutions to individuals, small businesses and executive teams - both in the office and in the field with our horses. In his free time, Prentice enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling and sports.
